Actress Bhumika Chawla, who made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan starrer film ‘Tere Naam’, has recently appeared in the film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’ opposite Salman. In this film, she has played the role of Pooja Hegde’s sister-in-law. Now Bhumika has recently made shocking revelations about being replaced by Kareena Kapoor Khan in Jab We Met. Along with this, she has revealed that she was also going to work in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s hit film Bajirao Mastani.

Bhumika had given screen test

Bajirao Mastani was released in 2015, in which Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone were seen in the lead roles. However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali had been planning to do this film since the time of shooting of his iconic film ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’. Bhansali had shared that he wanted to make this film with Salman and Shahrukh Khan but it could not happen. Now, while talking to Siddharth Kannan, Bhumika revealed that she too was offered a role in the film. He also gave a screen test for this but then nothing happened.

Bhumika further said, ‘It was a matter of many years ago, I had a screen test immediately after Tere Naam. I had done a photoshoot with Sir in his style. Ghee and oil spilled on my saree and my saree caught fire. I was holding the lamps in his style and then he fell. At that time I was wearing a silk saree. I remember what happened.

Kareena replaced Bhumika in Jab We Met

In the same interview, Bhumika also revealed that Kareena had replaced her in ‘Jab We Met’, after which she felt very bad. He was also offered the lead role in the film Munnabhai MBBS. Although later Gracy Singh was seen in this film.
