This is how the idea of 12 feet tall people came
In this film, the boat people have been shown bigger than the common man. In fact, James Cameron had told in an interview that his mother had once seen a 12 feet tall woman in her dream, who was blue in colour. The mother told her son James Cameron about this dream and from here came the idea of the Na’vi species look.
This is how the shooting of ‘Avatar 2’ happened
It was shown in the trailer of ‘Avatar 2’ that this time the fight between humans and Pandora’s residents takes place in water. In such a situation, it was not easy for Starcast to shoot in water. A lot of hard work has been done to make the water scenes look real. A large tank with a capacity of 940,000 liters of water was built in the Manhattan Beach studio. The width of this tank was 18 and the length was 36 meters and its depth was kept at 9 meters so that the actors could easily swim in it.
Had to work by holding breath in water
James Cameron tells in an interview that the lightmen, cameramen and actors had to hold their breath to work inside the tank. This was a very challenging job. ‘Avatar 2’ actress Kat Winslet held her breath for 7 minutes, 20 seconds for an underwater scene. In a way, it is a world record in itself.
