Hrithik Roshan wept bitterly in the room

The film ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ was a success at the box office. It is said that despite the film being a hit, Hrithik Roshan cried a lot and wanted to leave Bollywood. Disclosing this, Hrithik’s father Rakesh Roshan had said that after the film became a hit, Hrithik started crying in his room instead of getting excited. He was nervous after seeing the success of the film and his stardom and started thinking whether he had done right by appearing in films or not. Hrithik started doubting his decision.

Could not handle success

Rakesh Roshan gave an interview to The Quint on the completion of 20 years of ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’. In this interview, he disclosed about Hrithik and said, “I went to him and asked why are you crying, then he told- I am not able to handle all this. Boys and girls would come to meet me as soon as I went to the studio. Everyone wants to take a photo with me. I am not getting a chance to learn anything. I am not getting a chance to act. I am not able to focus on work”. Then Rakesh Roshan explained to Hrithik that he should take this change as a blessing. He taught Hrithik to move forward adopting all these changes. Today the actor is included in the list of top heroes of Bollywood.
