After Animal, fans have been eagerly waiting to witness Bobby Deol’s fierce villainy once again. The wait is finally over as the Bollywood actor takes on a powerful negative role in the recently released Daku Maharaj, which hit theaters on January 12. Sharing the screen with the legendary 64-year-old South superstar Nandamuri Balakrishna (NBK), Bobby Deol’s portrayal of a dangerous antagonist is already the talk of the town.

Despite facing criticism for the much-trolled song “Dabibi Dabi,” where NBK is seen dancing with Urvashi Rautela, the film has delivered a remarkable performance at the box office. According to initial box office tracker Sacnilk, Daku Maharaj collected ₹22.5 crores on its opening day in India, with its worldwide earnings touching an impressive ₹30–35 crores. Made on a budget of ₹100 crores, the film has successfully garnered attention, even with mixed reviews.

Directed by Bobby Koli, the film also features Pragya Jaiswal, Shraddha Srinath, and Chandini Chowdhary as the leading ladies, while Ravi Kishan, Sachin Khedekar, and Harshvardhan shine in supporting roles. Urvashi Rautela makes a special appearance in the song “Dabibi,” which has become a point of discussion among fans and critics alike.

Interestingly, Bobby Deol previously played a villain in Surya’s Kanguva, which failed to perform at the box office despite his praised performance in the film’s promotional material. However, with Daku Maharaj, Bobby Deol’s menacing presence has once again struck a chord with audiences.

This action-packed drama is a must-watch for fans of high-octane thrillers and the irresistible charm of Bobby Deol and NBK’s on-screen rivalry.
