Pan-India superstar Prabhas continues to dominate headlines with his massive upcoming projects, and one of the most buzzworthy among them is the war-period drama Fauji (working title), directed by Sita Ramam fame Hanu Raghavapudi. The film marks the grand debut of Imanvi Ismail as the female lead and is already generating massive hype for its scale and star-studded cast.
Veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty, who plays a crucial role in the film, recently opened up about his experience on set. While he hasn’t yet shot any scenes with Prabhas, Mithun revealed that his portions with iconic actress Jayaprada have been completed. In a shocking revelation, he shared that he suffered a hand fracture right before the film’s photoshoot.
Despite the injury, Mithun praised the team, especially Prabhas, for their supportive attitude. “Health comes first,” Prabhas reportedly told him, urging him to rest until fully recovered. Mithun confirmed he will resume shooting soon, and fans can look forward to seeing him share screen space with Prabhas.
The real jaw-dropper, however, is the film’s whopping budget — over Rs 700 crore — making Fauji one of the most expensive films in Prabhas’ career. The movie also features Bollywood legend Anupam Kher in a significant role, with music composed by the talented Vishal Chandrasekhar.

Backed by Mythri Movie Makers, Fauji is shaping up to be a cinematic spectacle of epic proportions. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from the sets of this much-anticipated blockbuster.
