After the success of Stree, Bhediya, and Munjya, producer Dinesh Vijan is all set to expand his horror-comedy universe with his next film, Thama. This time, Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana steps into the supernatural realm, playing the role of a vampire. With Thama, Vijan aims to deepen the interconnections between his horror-comedy films, ensuring that each installment remains linked to the larger universe.
Epic Showdown: Vampire vs Werewolf in Thama
Just as Stree made an appearance in Bhediya, and Varun Dhawan reprised his role as the wolf in Stree 2, Thama will also be linked to its predecessors. The much-anticipated crossover will see an intense confrontation between Ayushmann’s vampire and Varun Dhawan’s werewolf (Bhediya).
Reports suggest that the actors have already shot their high-octane sequence in a Mumbai studio under the direction of Munjya filmmaker Aditya Sarpotdar. To elevate the cinematic experience, the scene has been crafted with the expertise of international technicians, promising an action-packed and visually stunning spectacle.
Star-Cast and Storyline
Announced in October last year, Thama blends horror, comedy, and romance. The story revolves around an incomplete love saga with supernatural twists. Starring alongside Ayushmann Khurrana is Rashmika Mandanna, while acting powerhouses Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal will play pivotal roles. Scheduled for a grand theatrical release this Diwali, the film is set to be a major crowd-puller.
More Horror-Comedy Surprises Ahead
Dinesh Vijan is not stopping at Thama. The filmmaker is also developing sequels for Stree and Bhediya, ensuring that his horror-comedy universe continues to entertain audiences. Given Munjya‘s intriguing climax, speculations are also high about a possible sequel.

With Thama bringing together vampires and werewolves in an epic face-off, fans can expect another thrilling addition to Bollywood’s growing horror-comedy genre.
