The untitled film is based on the life of celebrated police officer Rakesh Maria, who played a key role in cracking the 1993 Mumbai bomb blast case and confronting the city’s underworld. This will be Rohit Shetty’s first venture into the world of true stories, and he’s pulling out all the stops with a massive Rs 100 crore budget.
40 Iconic Mumbai Locations, Realistic Sets, and Intense Action
The movie will be shot across 40 iconic locations in Mumbai, including Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Dongri, and the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. A set replicating the Maharashtra ATS headquarters is also being constructed. Over 150 crew members—ranging from action experts to prosthetics artists—will bring authenticity and thrill to every frame.
