This time, it’s a Hollywood comedy directed by Nicholas Stoller, known for his work on Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors. Titled Judgment Day (working title), the film will feature Priyanka alongside Baywatch co-star Zac Efron.
The star-studded cast also includes comedy heavyweights like Michael Peña, Regina Hall, Jimmy Tatro, Billy Eichner, and Will Ferrell. Produced under the banner of Amazon MGM Studios, the film promises a laughter-packed ride with a unique courtroom twist.
A Courtroom Hijack and a Tale of Revenge
According to reports from The Hollywood Reporter, the plot centers around a young ex-convict who storms into an unscripted TV courtroom, blaming the judge for ruining his life. Will Ferrell takes on the role of the judge, while Zac Efron plays the rebellious criminal. Though Priyanka’s character has not been revealed yet, her presence in this ensemble cast hints at another impactful performance.
Priyanka’s Long-Awaited Comeback to Indian Cinema
While her Hollywood career continues to shine, Priyanka is also making a powerful comeback in Indian cinema after six long years. She will be seen opposite superstar Mahesh Babu in SSMB 29, a period action drama helmed by RRR and Baahubali director SS Rajamouli. South star Prithviraj Sukumaran also plays a key role in the film.
