South Indian cinema is gearing up for a gritty, high-octane ride as Natural Star Nani returns with his much-awaited thriller, HIT: The Third Case (HIT 3), all set to release on May 1. Directed by Shailesh Kolanu, the third installment in the HIT franchise promises a darker, more intense storyline packed with crime, mystery, and action.
The film’s gripping trailer, unveiled at the iconic Sangam Theatre in Vizag, gives a spine-chilling glimpse into the murky world of serial killers and justice. Nani takes center stage as Arjun Sarkar, a powerful SP in the HIT team from Visakhapatnam, who is assigned a sensitive and brutal case in Jammu & Kashmir. His mission? Hunt down a ruthless group of serial killers behind a series of gruesome murders.
HIT 3 marks a stark tonal shift from the previous parts, diving deep into psychological and physical violence. One hard-hitting scene even shows Nani severing a hand, giving fans a peek into the film’s raw intensity. While this dose of gore may not be for the faint-hearted, it raises the stakes for action lovers looking for something truly gripping.
Alongside Nani, the film features Srinidhi Shetty in a pivotal role, with Komali Prasad, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Maganti Srinath rounding out the ensemble cast. Backed by Wall Poster Cinema and Uninus Productions, with music by Mickey J Meyer, the movie is all set for a strong theatrical impact.
Interestingly, HIT 3 has already completed its censor screening well ahead of release. Nani himself was present during the review, and the team is open to making re-edits if the board suggests any changes. The censor board’s official remarks are still awaited.
Nani might not be Prabhas, Allu Arjun, or Rajinikanth—but with HIT 3, he’s proving once again why he’s called the Family Star who brings raw intensity with every performance. This time, he’s bringing action stronger than ever—Sikandar and Jat-style, with brains and brutality.
