Acting

Akshay Kumar has done a good job in the role of Samrat Prithviraj.. He was trolled after seeing the trailer but he suits in the film. In the opening scene, his fight with the lions is shown in a powerful way. The way Akshay speaks dialogues respecting women. Showing love to his soil, he wins hearts. Sanjay Dutt is wonderful in the role of Kaka Kanha. They keep blindfolded and open the bandage only when war is to be fought. Sanjay Dutt also hits comic punch in the film and manages to make him laugh. Sonu Sood is wonderful in the character of Chand Bardai..Sonu has become both a poet and a astrologer and lives with him like a shadow of the emperor. Manushi Chhillar has done a better job than expected. When there is no woman in the court and Manushi talks about the rights of women, then she gets accustomed. She looks tremendous in Johar’s scenes and Yoddha songs. Ashutosh Rana and Sakshi Tanwar are very much involved in the role of parents of Rani Sanyogita.

Shortage

The screenplay of the film could have been a bit better…as there is always room for improvement. Akshay’s look could have been a bit better too.

Music 

The background score and songs of the film are good and go well with the pace of the film.
