Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith’s Thunivu are seen giving tough competition to each other at the box office. However, in this clash, Vijay is clearly seen winning at the box office. Vijay’s Varisu has earned around 140 crores in its 11 days of release. Whereas Ajith’s Thunivu has achieved the figure of 100 crores.

Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ had earned around 210 crores globally in its first week of release. After witnessing a slight drop at the box office on Day 10, Warisu registered a boom once again on Day 11. As per the initial estimates, the film earned around Rs 6.5 crore in India on its 11th day across all languages. With this, the total earning of the film in the country has reached around 141.05 crores.

Ajith’s ‘Thunivu’ is also doing well at the box office. The film earned around Rs 2.45 crore at the Indian box office on the tenth day of its release. However, it saw an increase on the 11th day, doing a business of Rs 4 crore at the ticket counter. As per the initial estimates, the total has gone up to Rs 100.20 crore in just 11 days. Looking at the rising numbers, it seems that the film may garner more numbers in the coming weeks.

Will there be a fight with Pathan?

Amidst this ongoing box office clash between Vijay and Ajith’s films, Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan may also enter. Trade analysts believe that the release of Pathan will affect the earnings of both these films. Pathan is scheduled to release in theaters on January 25. The film will also be released in Tamil and Telugu. In such a situation, it will be interesting to see what effect these films have on the box office.
