Sonu Nigam himself has come forward today and told the whole incident. Sonu told ANI, “I was coming down from the stage after the concert, while a man Swapnil Prakash Faterpekar caught me. Then he pushed Hari and Rabbani who had come to save me. Then I fell on the stairs. I have filed a complaint.”

After this incident happened last night, Sonu Nigam reached Jane Hospital in Mumbai. Pictures and videos of Sonu’s meeting with the police have also come to the fore.

On this matter, DCP Hemraj Singh Rajput of Zone 6 said, “Sonu Nigam was coming down from the stage after the live concert when a man caught him. After the objection, he pushed Sonu Nigam and two other people with him from the stairs. One of those two people got injuries. The name of the accused is Swapnil Faterpekar.

Case registered against an accused

The police officer further said that according to the information received, the attack was not done intentionally. He said, “According to the conversation with Sonu Nigam, the incident did not seem to be intentional, it was done by one person. After this the volunteers controlled the situation. There is only one name in the FIR, it is only a case where the singer was caught by the accused with the intention of photographing him.”

Concert organizer apologizes to Sonu Nigam and team

In the matter of misbehavior with Sonu Nigam and his team during the event in Chembur, a tweet has also been made on behalf of the organizer of the concert. The tweet read, “Sonu Nigam is healthy.
