Digital and music rights sold for 220 crores

Quoting sources, it has been learned that Leo’s digital and music rights have been sold for Rs 220 crores. Now the producers of the film are focusing on its theatrical rights. Quoting sources, the portal has written that the rights of the Kannada version of the film have been sold for Rs 15 crore and the rights of the Telugu version for Rs 25 crore.

According to a report in Track Tollywood, the theatrical rights of Vijay’s Varisu were sold in Andhra Pradesh for Rs 18 crore. Since Leo is a bigger film, the makers are asking Rs 25 crore for it. On the other hand, in Karnataka, the rights of Warisu were sold for 8 crores, while Leo is likely to be sold there for 12 crores. According to reports, the producers of Leo in Tamil Nadu, Seven Screen Studios, will release the film themselves. Warisu was sold in Tamil Nadu for Rs 70 crores, so Leo may easily go up to Rs 100 crores.

Earned so much before release

The rights of the film can be sold abroad for Rs 50 crore. In such a situation, Leo can easily earn Rs 422 crores before its release. The budget of the film is said to be Rs 275 crore. Leo can easily make profits if this budget is correct.
