Very famous singer and composer Anup Ghoshal passed away on Friday. His age was 77 years. He was suffering from age related diseases and was hospitalized for many days and yesterday he said goodbye to this world forever. There has been a wave of mourning in the industry due to Anup’s demise. Many fans and celebs are paying tribute to the singer on social media.
Anup Ghoshal died due to multi organ failure
According to a PTI report, Anup Ghoshal was admitted to a private hospital in South Kolkata for the last several days due to age-related ailments. He breathed his last on Friday and died at 1.40 pm due to multi organ failure. He has two daughters.

Anup Ghoshal has left an indelible mark on the world of music, he also entered politics by successfully contesting the 2011 assembly elections from Uttarpara seat on Trinamool Congress ticket.

Anoop Ghoshal was a very popular singer. He was born in 1945 to Amulya Chandra Ghoshal and Labanya Ghoshal. She started her musical training at the age of 4 and first sang for the children’s program Shishu Mahal from All India Radio, Kolkata. His versatility was displayed in Kazi Nazrul Islam, Rabindranath Tagore and modern Bengali songs.
