What is the story of the film?

Some friends living in a village in Punjab want to go to London. They feel that by going there their poverty will end. One has to go to pick up his old girlfriend, whose husband beats her. They prepare for IELTS paper, but are unable to learn English. Then they go on donkey flight i.e. illegally. And then what happens? Go to the theater to see this.

How is the movie?

The film is amazing from beginning to end. There is not a single scene that you can miss. The film does not bore anywhere. Moves with a nice flow and makes you laugh. Makes you cry. Shocking. Shahrukh is not dominant in the entire film. You read it right. The rest of the characters have got equal opportunity and because of this the film becomes even better. You get attached to each character. It is a completely clean film. You can watch it comfortably with the entire family.

Acting

Shahrukh Khan has done an amazing job. The remaining characters have also been given full opportunity to emerge. Here a young Shahrukh is seen and an old one. The makeup could have been a little better but it doesn’t matter with the flow of the film. Taapsee Pannu has done a wonderful job. She is looking very good with Shahrukh. She is also established in the old age character.

Social Media

Vicky Kaushal has shown that he can leave a big impact even with a small character. They make you laugh and cry too. Vikram Kochhar is fantastic. He comes out separately in the film and wins hearts. Anil Grover has also done amazing acting. The pairing of Boman Irani and Hirani has been going on for years and here too Boman has done amazing work.

Direction

The picture is still pending, my friend… When I saw the trailer of Dunki, I did not think that the film would be so amazing. But Shahrukh Khan proved his own dialogue right… Why Raj Kumar Hirani is Raj Kumar Hirani has been proved once again. This film is Hirani’s film and Shahrukh allowed it to be made as Hirani’s film, this is the most special thing about it. This is Hirani’s film. Shahrukh Khan could not overpower Hirani and that is why this film has become brilliant. His way of telling the story is quite emotional and you get connected to it. This will be counted among his best films.

Pritam’s music touches the heart. Kabhi hum ghar se song jab jab aata hai. Eyes become moist. The background score of Aman Pant is very good.

Mukesh Chhabra’s casting is amazing, and this is a big reason for this film becoming so amazing. Such actors who not only stood up to Shahrukh but also did wonders. Finding such an actor is amazing in itself. Overall this is the best of the year.
