According to the report of News 18, information has been received from a source that, “Ranveer Singh has been chosen to play an important role in Brahmastra 2 and that role belongs to Ranbir Kapoor’s father Dev.” Not only has he been finalized for the role but he has also signed it. The scripting of the second part is still in progress and the film is expected to start rolling in 2025. Currently, Ayan Mukherjee is busy with ‘War 2’ and Ranveer will also start shooting for ‘Baiju Bawra’ this year. Therefore, it is still not clear when Brahmastra 2 will hit the floors.

According to the report, the source also said, “If everything goes well, Ranveer will start Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra in mid-2024. While earlier it was said that the shooting of ‘Brahmastra 2’ will start in early 2025, now it is being said that Don 3 will go on the floors around the same time. In such a situation, Ranveer will first shoot ‘Don 3’ and then ‘Brahmastra 2’.”
