Film maker and Bigg Boss Telugu fame Surya Kiran has passed away at the age of just 51. Surya was battling jaundice and lost the battle of life while fighting the disease on Monday. Their spokesperson has posted this information on Facebook.

While posting on X, PRO Suresh wrote- ‘Director Surya Kiran has passed away due to jaundice. He has directed films like Satyam, Raju Bhai. He has also been a contestant of Bigg Boss Telugu. om Shanti.’ PRO Suresh also posted in Telugu and wrote, Director Surya Kiran died in a hospital in Chennai due to illness. I pray that his soul rests in peace.

Surya Kiran has not only been a film maker and director, but he has also worked as an actor in many films. He worked in many Tamil and Telugu films as a child actor. He was seen in the films ‘Kadal Meengal’, ‘Mangamma Sabadham’, ‘Manithan’, ‘Swayam Krushi’ and ‘Prisoner No. 786’ released in 1981.
