The official X handle of Westeros posted on Wednesday, “The finale season of #HouseOfTheDragon titled, ‘The Queen Who Never Was’. The episode has been accidentally leaked online. Please be careful of going to Twitter and tag until it airs on Sunday. Already a lot of spoilers are going online.” The makers later changed the title of the episode to ‘The Queen Who Ever Was’.
HBO’s Response to the Leak
On Thursday, HBO released an official statement addressing the leak: “We are aware that clips of the season finale of House of the Dragon have surfaced on social media platforms. The clip was posted without permission with the help of an international third-party distributor. HBO is monitoring it and trying to remove the clip from the internet. Fans can watch the episode in full this Sunday night on HBO and Max.”
