The Race franchise has long been a favorite among Bollywood fans, delivering high-octane action and thrilling plots. With three installments already released, Saif Ali Khan led the first two films, while Salman Khan took the reins in Race 3, though it didn’t quite resonate with the audience as expected. Now, there’s exciting news about the franchise’s future—Saif Ali Khan may return to the lead role in Race 4.

As Akshay Kumar returns to the Welcome series and Abhishek Bachchan steps back into the Housefull franchise, Saif Ali Khan is reportedly in talks to reprise his role in the upcoming Race installment. Tentatively titled Race Reboot, the film is expected to reignite the excitement the earlier films brought to the big screen.

The Race journey began in 2008 with the first film release, featuring Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, and Anil Kapoor in prominent roles. In 2013, Race 2 hit theaters, with John Abraham joining the cast alongside Saif and Anil Kapoor. In 2018, Race 3 introduced a new story with Salman Khan, Bobby Deol, and Saqib Saleem, though it didn’t receive the same acclaim as its predecessors.

Now, buzz around Race 4 is growing, and Saif Ali Khan might just return as the lead. Reports suggest that discussions between Saif and producer Ramesh Taurani have been ongoing for quite some time, and the two have finally reached an agreement to take the franchise forward. The film’s production is expected to kick off in the first quarter of next year.
