The second day of the prestigious South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024 saw the winners from the Tamil and Malayalam film industries being revealed, following the announcement of the Telugu and Kannada awardees on the first day. The event recognized outstanding performances, with big names like Aishwarya Rai, Nayanthara, and Chiyaan Vikram taking home top honors.

Chiyaan Vikram secured the Best Actor award in Tamil for his powerful role in Ponniyin Selvan 2, while Aishwarya Rai won the Best Actress (Critics) award for the same film. Nayanthara was celebrated as Best Actress for her performance in Annapoorani. Rajinikanth’s Jailer won Best Film, further solidifying its success.

In the Malayalam industry, Tovino Thomas took home the Best Actor award for 2018, and Anaswara Rajan was honored as Best Actress for Neru.
