Bollywood legend Govinda and comedian Krishna Abhishek have put an end to their seven-year-long feud, sharing an emotional reunion on The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show Season 2. The show, known for hosting Bollywood’s biggest stars, recently featured Govinda, Chunky Pandey, and Shakti Kapoor, who entertained the audience with their humorous anecdotes. However, it was the reconciliation between Govinda and Krishna that stole the spotlight.

A Hug That Ended the Rift

The uncle-nephew duo, whose strained relationship had made headlines for years, embraced warmly on stage. Krishna greeted Govinda with an emotional hug, saying, “We’ve met after years, and today I won’t leave you at all.” Their heartfelt reunion was accompanied by laughter, dance, and a wave of nostalgia.

Govinda shared candidly, “The person you think you’re fighting with might be silently supporting you. When I was upset about my mimicry, Sunita [Govinda’s wife] explained to me not to say anything.” This statement was a subtle response to Krishna’s past claims that his aunt Sunita often caused misunderstandings between them.

The Feud That Lasted Years

The conflict between Govinda and Krishna began seven years ago, with Krishna openly discussing alleged disputes with his maternal uncle and aunt in interviews. Despite this, Krishna had defended himself in the media, clarifying that his issues were not with Govinda but primarily with Sunita. Their appearance together on Kapil Sharma’s show signals a fresh chapter in their relationship, with both parties putting the past behind them.

Govinda Reveals Krishna’s Birth Story

During the episode, Govinda shared an endearing story about Krishna’s birth. “He is my sister’s son and was born because of my wish. However, due to work commitments, I couldn’t meet him for the first 2-3 years. When I finally saw him, he had grown up quite a bit,” Govinda recalled. This touching anecdote added another layer of emotion to the episode.
