Shahid Kapoor’s much-anticipated action thriller Deva has finally hit the big screen, and fans are thrilled to see him in a power-packed avatar. After a long wait, the actor has returned with a gripping mix of action and suspense, and the audience is loving every bit of it. Despite a slow start on its opening day, Deva has picked up momentum at the box office.

Box Office Collection So Far

According to Zee Studios, Deva started its journey with an opening collection of ₹5.78 crore at the Indian box office. While the film didn’t see a massive boost from the weekend, its earnings still witnessed an upward trend, collecting ₹6.25 crore on the second day. With this, Deva has amassed a total of ₹12.03 crore in just two days.

Beating the Competition

Despite a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force, which hit the theaters on January 24, Deva has outperformed several other 2025 releases. It has already surpassed Kangana Ranaut’s Emergency, which could only collect ₹6.1 crore in two days. Additionally, the film has also left behind Rasha Thadani’s Azad, which had a lifetime collection of ₹6.77 crore.

Star-Cast and Worldwide Earnings

Directed by Roshan Andrews, Deva is an official remake of the 2013 film Mumbai Police. Shahid Kapoor shines in his role as a tough cop, while Pooja Hegde adds charm with her romantic presence. The film also features Pavail Gulati, Kubbra Sait, and Pravesh Rana in pivotal roles.

On the global front, Deva made an impressive opening with a worldwide collection of ₹10.31 crore on its first day. With positive word of mouth and increasing audience engagement, the film is expected to continue its strong run at the box office.
