Vishal starrer Christmas release ‘Latthi’ has done well at the box office in its first weekend. However, at the beginning of the release of the film, it received mixed reviews from the critics. But Vishal’s magic is clearly visible at the box office.

Vishal, Sunaina and Prabhu starrer Latthi box office collection is off to a good start at Tamil Nadu and Telugu box office and is ahead of Nayanthara’s Connect. The film has earned a total of 10 crores in its first weekend. Talking about the Indian box office, the film has so far earned 7.75 crores.

What is the story of the film

Muruganantham (Vishal) is a suspended police constable, who is trying to get back into the department. On the professional front, a human rights violation case bothers him. On the personal front, his doting wife (Sunaina) and his 10-year-old son (Master Lirish Raghav) are his lifeblood, giving him hope and boosting his morale. But when he adopts the son of a don-like personality, he and his family may face an existential threat.
