Kartik Aaryan’s latest release film ‘Shehzada’ could not do anything amazing at the box office. Now the actor will soon be seen in Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3’. The film will be a standalone sequel after the hit films Aashiqui (1990) and Aashiqui 2 (2013). Along with this, there are also rumors that the makers are looking for the leading lady for the film and talks are also going on with actress Sara Ali Khan.

According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, speculations are rife that Sara Ali Khan has been approached to be cast as the leading lady opposite Kartik. If Sara agrees to the film, it will be the second time that Sara and Kartik will be seen on screen after Imtiaz Ali’s 2020 release Love Aaj Kal. According to the report, the search is on for another actress for the third lead of the film.
