Many of Akshay Kumar’s previous films are flopping at the box office. At the same time, the recent release ‘Selfie’ also dashed the actor’s hopes. Selfie has been performing poorly since its opening day and now the film is a complete flop at the box office. The film is not getting any audience at all, so it has not charged half of its cost. Here’s how much business the film did on Tuesday, the fifth day of its release.

‘Selfie’ did business on the fifth day

The pairing of Akshay Kumar and Raj Mehta gave a super hit film like Good Newwz but this partnership completely failed and the audience did not get their look from the release film ‘Selfie’. Talking about earning at the box office, the film has been able to collect very less.

‘Selfie’ collected Rs 2.55 crore on the first day

Selfie earned Rs 3.80 crore on the second day.

‘Selfie’ collected 3.90 crores on the third day.

On the fourth day, Akshay Kumar’s film was able to do business of Rs 1.3 crore.

According to the preliminary figures of Sacklin’s report, ‘Selfie’ has earned Rs 1.10 crore on the fifth day.

The total collection of ‘Selfie’ now stands at Rs 12.70 crore.

‘Selfie’ was made in a budget of 150 crores

‘Selfie’ has become the lowest grossing film in its first weekend. Surprisingly, despite the presence of big stars like Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, the film has failed to bring footfall in the theatres. Apart from Akshay-Imran, Nusrat Bharucha and Diana Penty have also played important roles in the film. Please tell that ‘Selfie’ is the official Hindi remake of Malayalam film ‘Driving License’. The original film was a super-duper hit. At the same time, the bankruptcy of ‘Selfie’, which was prepared in a budget of 150 crores, has come out.

On the other hand, if we talk about Akshay Kumar’s work front, he will be seen in ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ with Tiger Shroff. Akshay has also started shooting for ‘Hera Pheri 3’ with Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
