‘Salaar 2’ Officially Announced Alongside ‘Raja Saheb’ First Look

As Prabhas celebrates his 45th birthday today (October 23, 1979), fans were treated to two major announcements. The first was the reveal of his stunning look from the horror-comedy Raja Saheb, directed by Maruti. Secondly, trade analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the much-anticipated Salaar 2 on his official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Sharing a poster of Prabhas, Adarsh wrote, “Prabhas-Prithviraj-Prashanth Neel’s Salaar 2 shooting has begun. On his birthday, this is fantastic news for Prabhas’ fans. Hombale Films has officially announced Salaar 2, and Prabhas is set to shoot for 20 days in the upcoming schedule.”

Box Office Performance of Salaar Part 1

Salaar: Part 1 was released on December 22, last year, clashing with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunky. Directed by Prashanth Neel, the film grossed ₹406.45 crores in India and a whopping ₹617.75 crores globally, including ₹130 crores from the overseas market.

While the first part left some fans longing for more dialogues from Prabhas, they are hopeful that Salaar: Part 2 will offer a more significant role and powerful dialogues from the superstar. Additionally, excitement is building for the sequel to Kalki 2898 AD.
