After making waves with Stree 2, Rajkumar Rao is back on screen with his latest film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, which released today, October 11. This comedy-drama, also starring Tripti Dimri, has garnered much anticipation, but its opening at the box office has been slower than expected.

By 3:30 pm on its first day, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video managed to cross the Rs 1 crore mark, earning Rs 1.22 crore, according to Sacknilk.

Box Office Clash with Alia Bhatt’s ‘Jigra’

Rajkumar Rao and Tripti Dimri’s film faces stiff competition from Alia Bhatt’s Jigra, which also hit theaters today. However, in the box office race, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is leading, with Jigra earning a slightly lower Rs 1.02 crore on its first day.
